Ingredients

  • vanilla ice cream (Haagen-Dazs or home made)
  • Cinnamon Toast Crunch cereal

Instructions

Put scoops of ice cream in bowl. Pour cereal on top. Eat!

When people ask me for my favorite, most perfect band, I do not hesitate to answer Spoon. There aren’t many bands that hold my attention for more than two albums, but Spoon just keeps getting more interesting (and more popular) with every release. Britt Daniel (guitar, vocals, songwriting) formed the group in Austin, TX with Jim Eno (drums).

This is actually the second interview I did with Britt. The first, back in 2003, was rendered useless by bad audio. I’m lucky that Britt gave me a second chance (this interview went much better anyway!)
