Where Jenville Meets Lynchland
Hey everybody! I finally realized my dream of being on my brother's music & comedy podcast, Lynchland. He was nice enough to have me on a Viewer Mail episode (#10) to talk about Cooking with Rockstars. We had a good time chatting in front of the green screen, and I asked him to surprise me by putting something in my hand. You'll have to watch it for yourself to see what he came up with (naturally, it's something I never could have predicted!).

Cookbook for Young Moderns
Cookbook for Young Moderns is the tenth in the series of my end-of-the-year compilations. That’s right, a decade! I figured a cooking theme would be appropriate for this year’s title, because 2007 was the year I finally got my Cooking with Rockstars project back in gear.
2007 was a great year for music, and although I can't claim to be as cutting edge as some of my (younger) peers, I think you'll find that this is a perfectly rockin' mix.
CWRS on Pitchfork Media
I got a tip today from Jeremy Bruch (What Made Milwaukee Famous) that the Britt Daniel episode of Cooking With Rockstars got a little write-up on Pitchfork, in the Forkcast section.
I've been a Pitchfork fan for years and highly recommend it as a music research tool and addictive time-killer. How very exciting!

I Want to See That!
Lately, I've been enjoying the I Want To See That! Podcast, hosted by my friends, Ben and Katie, in which they "review" movies that have not yet been released. The show is a companion to the I Want To See That! web site that helps people get out from behind their computers and see movies together in real space.
